Sunrise Easter Service Underway In Laguna Beach: What To Know

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach residents can be a part of a very special Easter service on Main Beach this Sunday, March 31.

The Laguna Beach United Methodist Church is hosting its Easter sunrise service, and residents were urged to be a part of the celebration.

Residents who attend the service will be greeted with hot coffee and handwarmers by volunteers from the church. Songbooks will also be passed out, and an "open table" communion will be offered, with everyone invited to participate regardless of their own tradition.

At the end of the service, attendees will place flowers on a cross to create a beautiful springtime wreath.

Attendees are permitted to bring folding chairs as well as flowers for the community wreath. Coffee will be served starting at 5:45 a.m. with the sunrise service starting at 6 a.m. on Main Beach in Laguna Beach.

An indoor service will also be held at 10 a.m. at Laguna Beach United Methodist Church, 21632 Wesley Drive.
