LAGUNA BEACH, CA —A Laguna Beach sunset had the look of a fiery tornado over the weekend. Residents paused to appreciate the view and Patch talked to the National Weather Service about the phenomenon.
"There were contrails mixed with high, thin cirrus clouds," NWS spokesperson and meteorologist Alexander Tardy told us.
High winds whipped the trail into the tornado-esque shape.
