Thalia Street Traffic Monday, With Water District Improvements

Monday, May 8, expect traffic near Thalia Street. Here's where.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Driving near Thalia Street? Expect delays, according to the City of Laguna Beach.

"On Monday, May 8, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Laguna Beach County Water District has scheduled to shift all traffic lanes over on Thalia Street between Catalina and Wilson," City Manager John Pietig's office said in recent release.

There will be no lane closures to through traffic.

The uphill lane of Thalia Street between Catalina and Wilson will be coned off for District construction, they said.

No parking will be allowed on the downhill side and will be used for downhill traffic.

The uphill traffic will be moved to the center of the road.

No parking signs were put in place Friday, May 5, and cones will be provided to indicate the adjusted lanes.

Advanced warning signs will be installed for traffic control, they said.
