Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's definitely looking more inviting today. Those conditions have really cleaned up and we're seeing some fun waves coming through.
It's fairly smooth early on, with a combination of mostly west-northwest swell, some northwest windswell and minor south-southwest energy in the water.
That recipe is making for some kinda soft lines, that are offering some fast, workable corners. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to waist-high, with the top combo breaks pulling stomach-high waves, with a couple of plus sets.

At 7:59 this morning the tide pushes up to a 6.4 high, which will have many breaks pretty full or even shut down throughout the morning. The tide then drains out to a negative 1.3 low at 2:47 this afternoon.
If you're going to grab a session, you'll want to wear at least a 3/2 full-suit or a 4/3 and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!

FYI...Remember the county health department says surfers and swimmers should stay out of the water after a rain for at least 72 hours, especially near storm drains and river mouths.
