Traffic Alert for Coast Highway Wednesday: Pipeline Project Will Cause Delays

Southern California Gas Co. is working on a mandated pipeline project in the city of Laguna Beach.

From a Southern California Gas Co. press release:

Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas) will be working extended hours June 4 to complete a significant phase of a federally mandated pipeline project in the city of Laguna Beach along Coast Highway. 

Once this portion of work is complete, working hours are scheduled to resume from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday thrrough Friday.

Motorists can expect traffic delays along Coast Highway between Eagle Rock Way and 5th Avenue, including lane closures. The entire pipeline project, which began Friday, is expected to take up to 10 days. 

“We recognize the influence this work will have on traffic, business and residents and appreciate the patience and understanding of the community,” said Emily France, public affairs manager for SoCalGas.
