Telephone Lines Close Laguna Canyon Road, Monday

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Canyon road is closed Monday morning, due to downed telephone wires, the Laguna Beach Police Department said. Inbound traffic was backed up from State Route 73.

Drivers were asked to seek alternate routes while emergency crews were repairing the lines. The road closure began at just before 10 p.m. Sunday due to a traffic collision. The road remained closed the majority of Monday, reopening at approximately 3 p.m.
