Traffic Alert: Laguna Canyon Road Severe Congestion

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Traffic out of Laguna Beach was severely impacted Thursday morning at approximately 10:15 a.m. due to road work and a traffic light outage, according to the City of Laguna Beach.

"The signals at Broadway and Forest are malfunctioning," the Laguna Beach Police Department said. "Inbound traffic on Laguna Canyon Road is severely congested."

Caltrans was reportedly aware of the incident, and drivers were told to expect delays and avoid that area if possible.

Road work is anticipated to continue until at least 3 p.m. Thursday, the LBPD said.
