Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks like yesterday's howling winds left us with a little more surf, but also some residual texture or even bump on the surface.
The conditions are semi-clean early on, with a continued combination of mostly northwest wind and groundswell in the water. That recipe is offering us some fast and kind of drained-out lines, with a few fun pick-and-choose corners.
Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to waist-high, with the focal points pulling a few stomach-high sets.

At 5:54 this morning the tide dropped to a 0.7 low, which will have some spots lacking water early on. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.6 high at 10:52 later this morning and then drops once again to a 1.3 low at 4:26 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, throw on that 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water taking a dip and most spots averaging between 55 and 56 degrees. See ya in the water!

FYI...The County Health Department urges surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean after a rain due to increased bacteria levels for at least 72 hours, especially near river mouths, storm drains and harbor entrances.
