Wednesday Wave Check

Not looking very motivating.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it's not looking very motivating.  We're seeing some small surf, with some texture or bump on the water due to the southeast wind.

We've got a mix of some holding southwest swell and some minor west-northwest energy in the water.  That recipe is making for some kinda crumbly sectiony lines, with a few workable ones.

Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to waist-high, with the standout breaks pulling stomach-high waves, with not much more than that.

At 4:45 early this morning, the tide climbed up to a 4.9 high and then drops to a 1.3 low at 12:01 this afternoon.

If you're going to grab a session, throw on that 4/3 full and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 58 degrees.  See ya in the water!
