Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well the conditions are looking good, but the surf, not so much. Yep, it's still really small out there. So, you just might want to get in the car and head south a bit where you're likely to find a few playful-size waves.
It's mostly clean early on, with some light offshore winds that are likely to pick up throughout the day. We're seeing a minimal combination of mainly steep angled northwest swell and a touch of southwest energy in the water.
That recipe is giving us some pretty weak crumbly lines, with a few loggable ones. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about ankle- to knee-high, with the focal points pulling maybe a couple thigh-high-plus waves.

Taking a look a the tides ... well there's not much change. At 7:21 this morning it drops to a 1.6 low and then climbs back up to a 2.7 high at 12:44 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties will do the job, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. See ya in the water!
