Wednesday Wave Check

It's back to super small mode!

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, the conditions have really come together, but unfortunately all that wind driven energy we had the last couple days has pretty come and gone.

It's nice and clean early on, with a mixture of some very minimal remnant west-northwest windswell and a smidgen of southerly energy starting to show on occasion.

That's offering some pretty weak little drained-out lines, with maybe a few workable ones on a log.  Most spots in Laguna Beach are running about ankle- to knee-high, with those focal points pulling a few plus sets.

Checking those tides ... at 5:39 this morning it drained out to a 0.8 low, which will have many spots desperate for water early to mid-morning.  The tide then climbs back up to a 3.1 high at 11:35 later this morning and then drops once again to a 1.7 low at 4:43 this afternoon.

If you're going to get wet, throw on the most rubber you have, with the water temperature at most spots taking a big dip and averaging between 55 and 56 degrees.  Good luck out there!
