Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, this stretch of coast is back to really small mode. So, you'll definitely want to do a little driving north or south a bit!
It's mostly clean and glassy from the start, with a combination of continued fading energy. We're seeing some leftover west-northwest swell and some pretty minor south-southwest energy in the mix.
That recipe is making for some weak sectiony lines, with a few workable ones, with a log. Most spots in Laguna Beach are running about knee to maybe thigh high, with the top combo breaks pulling an occasional waist high set.

At 7:00 this morning the tide drained out to a negative 0.5 low, which will have many spots lacking water early- to mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.5 high at 1:18 this afternoon.
If you're going to get wet, then you'll want to wear at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. See ya in the water!

FYI...County Health Officials urge surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean for at least 72 hours after a rain due to the possibility of increased bacteria levels especially near river mouths, storm drains and harbor entrances.
