'Creative Couture' Event Returns To Festival Of Arts In Laguna Beach
After a two-year hiatus, the annual Festival Runway Fashion Show is returning to showcase creativity, sustainability and innovation.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA β A well-missed event is returning to Laguna Beach's Festival of Arts after a two-year hiatus, and it's not too late for residents to jump in on the extraordinary experience.
On Sunday, the Festival of Arts will host its annual Festival Runway Fashion Show β a beloved event that features festival exhibitors who step out of their artistic comfort zone and into the world of fashion.
The created looks are designed to amaze audiences with over-the-top creative couture and a twist: all of the fashion looks must be made out of recycle, reused and reclaimed materials.

"The Festival Runway Show is one of the most popular events of the summer, and we are so excited to bring it back this year," said Sharbie Higuchi, marketing and public relations director for the Festival of Arts. "This event never disappoints, even after all these years, our Festival artists' creativity and originality keeps it fresh with many surprises."
Festival artists start work for the runway months in advance with the hope of taking home the top prize and bragging rights. This year's top prize includes cash prizes of $1,000 in four categories, including "Most Creative Concept," Most Exciting Ensemble Inspired By 2022 Pageant of The Masters Theme 'Wonderful World'" and "Most Glamorous & Elegant Met Gala Worthy Creation."

The Festival Fashion Show takes place during the Festival's Fine Art Show Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m. Tickets to visit the Festival of Arts Fine Art Show start at $10 per person on weekdays, and $15 per person on weekends.
