Well-Loved Laguna Beach Eatery Hosts Estate Sale Ahead Of Closure
The '20s-inspired restaurant known for its inspiring ambiance will host a silent auction and estate sale prior to closing permanently.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A Laguna Beach favorite is shutting its doors for good, but residents can still bring a piece of it home — either in a takeout box, or in the trunk of their car.
Dizz's As Is, a '20s-inspired restaurant known for its inspiring ambiance and changing menu of traditional fare, announced its plans to close last December.
"It's been 48 years since Dizz's As Is opened in 1977," the restaurant posted on Instagram. "There have been great times and tough times. Since COVID we have had the toughest time ever and I'm sad to say we have put the building up for lease."

The longstanding eatery will shut its doors for good on Sunday, March 15.
Ahead of the closing date, Dizz's will host a silent auction and estate sale for all participating patrons.

In addition, residents can purchase drinks and wine for $10 and bottled beer for $10.
Residents interested in participating were asked to bring cash, as electronic payment will not be accepted.
Dizz's As Is will host its estate sale and silent auction on Sunday, March 15, with doors opening at 2 p.m. Residents interested in participating in the silent auction can do so from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
"Everyone is welcome. We'd love to see you one final time," the restaurant posted on Facebook. "Thank you all for the memories."
Dizz's As Is is located at 2794 S. Coast Highway in Laguna Beach.
