LAGUNA BEACH, CA —The community is invited to the christening of the latest addition to the Laguna Beach firefighting fleet.

The new wildland fire engine will be introduced to the public at a neighborhood wildfire evacuation and outreach event on Saturday, September 7th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fire Station 2, located at 285 Agate Street in Laguna Beach.

Fire Department personnel and officials will push the new engine into the apparatus bay, "officially" placing the engine into service along with pushing the old retiring 1999 wildland engine out of service.
