Women Of All Ages Sought For 2nd Pageant Of The Masters Casting Call

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Do you love performance art? Are you able to stand still for at least 90 seconds? The Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach has officially announced a second open casting call scheduled for Thursday, March 28.

The casting call aims to primarily recruit female volunteers for the upcoming summer production, "À La Mode: The Art of Fashion," which will run from July 6 through Aug. 30, 2024.

According to POTM organizers, women of all ages and ethnic backgrounds — specifically those with heights ranging from 5'1" to 5'5" and 5'8" to 5'10" — were asked to join in for the casting call.

Additionally, there are some opportunities for male roles as well, organizers said.

The second casting call with coincide with a POTM rehearsal, offering casting hopefuls a glimpse into this year's production and process of making a living picture.

Guests will enjoy light snacks and refreshments and have the chance to meet the Pageant's creative and technical staff, including Director Diane Challis Davy.

The March 28 open casting call will take place backstage at the Pageant of the Masters Forum Theatre from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., situated on the Festival of Arts grounds at 650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach.
