1 Killed In Laguna Hills Pileup

LAGUNA HILLS, CA — A driver was killed during a four-vehicle pileup Saturday morning in Laguna Hills, and another person suffered moderate injuries, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. at Oso Parkway and Cabot Road, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Brett Buffington.

The injured motorist was pronounced dead at the scene, said Orange County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Carrie Braun.

Paramedics rushed another person to a hospital with moderate injuries, Buffington said. It was not immediately clear if other drivers or passengers were injured in the pileup.
