3 Exotic Birds Stolen After South OC Feed Barn Burglary

Orange County residents were asked to be on the lookout after three exotic birds were stolen from the Feed Barn in Capistrano Beach.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Three exotic birds were stolen from a Dana Point business Tuesday, and owners are pleading with the public to be on the lookout for three well-loved birds by the names of Sweetie, Baby Love and Cody.

The burglary was reported Tuesday morning at the Feed Barn in Capistrano Beach, 34192 Doheny Park Rd., store owner Michelle Martin told Patch.

Three birds were stolen, including Sweetie, a Congo African Grey, Baby Love, an Umbrella Cockatoo and Cody, a Double Yellow Headed Amazon.

Residents with any information involving the location of any of the three birds were asked to reach out to Martin at 949-294-0595.
