Aerial Images Show Storm Runoff Into Water Over Dana Point Thursday

A local Orange County pilot captured these photos of the storm runoff while flying over Dana Point Harbor Thursday.

DANA POINT, CA — On the ground, the water runoff from this week’s storm darkening Dana Point waters may be difficult to see.

Orange County pilot and photographer Wesley Parsons shared these photos he shot while piloting a Joy Air Airplane Tours aircraft over Dana Point Harbor Thursday morning.

The brown water, Wesley told Patch, comes from San Juan Creek and is likely caused by the heavy amount of rain the region has seen over the past month.
