The oldest trophy in international sport, the America’s Cup, which was first contested in 1851 and predates the modern Olympics by 45 years, will be at Dana Point Yacht Club on July 17, 2016.

This is a rare opportunity for the public to see the America’s Cup Trophy in person and be involved in a prestigious event like this. This very special visit of the America’s Cup Trophy will give those in attendance the opportunity to not only see the Cup in person but to also learn about its over 150 year rich history and the current status of the America’s Cup challenge.

There will be a special presentation by Norbert Bajurin, Commodore of Golden Gate Yacht Club, the home club of the America’s Cup Defender, ORACLE TEAM USA. There will also be a press/media session following the presentation.

Additionally, there will be photo opportunities with the America’s Cup, and a number of event related activities and functions.
