Human Remains Found On South OC Beach: Report

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Human remains were found on a beach in South Orange County, The Orange County Register reported.

The remains were found by local resident Katherine Kinnison on a San Clemente beach the afternoon of Wednesday, June 17, according to the report.

"I was like, 'Wow, what is that?" she told the newspaper. "I kind of had this feeling — maybe don't touch it. It seemed unlike any other beach find."

The remains, a human jaw with some teeth intact, was found in the sand near Linda Lane Beach.
