Authorities Seek Tips On South OC Stabbing Suspect

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA —Wednesday, Orange County Sheriff's Department investigators shared a photo of a potential suspect in the fatal stabbing of a San Juan Capistrano man earlier this year. They hope it will prompt leads for an arrest, a department spokesperson said.

On Jan. 14, an unidentified suspect stabbed and killed 30- year-old Jorge Marvin Guadarrama in the 2600 block of Calle San Luis in San Juan Capistrano.

Deputies were dispatched at 5:21 p.m. and found the victim, pronounced dead at the scene, a department spokesperson said. Though grainy, the photo tells the story of someone in the area after the crime.

The suspect is described as a Latino man with a thin build who was wearing jeans and a black-hooded sweatshirt, deputies said.
