Bail Set at $1 Million for Laguna Niguel Woman Accused of Boyfriend's Stabbing Murder

Arraignment was rescheduled Tuesday to March 10 for Michele Green, who is accused for killing her boyfriend during an argument.

A 50-year-old Laguna Niguel woman accused in the weekend stabbing death of her live-in boyfriend made her first appearance in court today, but did not enter a plea.

Green allegedly stabbed 52-year-old Richard Begley on Saturday night following a “domestic dispute,” according to the prosecutor, who did not elaborate.

Orange County sheriff’s deputies responding to a call of a man down found the victim on the front lawn of 24805 La Vida Drive about 8:40 p.m. Begley, who lived on the same block with the suspect, was stabbed in the stomach area.

Green remains in custody in lieu of $1 million bail.
