Big Rigs Crash In South OC Late Thursday Morning, 1 Injured

The crash was reported injured at least one person in San Clemente and apparently involved a FedEx truck, UPS truck and a BMW.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — At least one person was injured late Thursday morning after two big rigs and a BMW crashed on the freeway traveling south, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash was initially reported at 11:17 a.m. on the freeway traveling near Avenida Vista Hermosa in San Clemente, authorities said. The crash blocked at least four lanes on the freeway as of 11:37 a.m., officials said.

According to preliminary reports, the crash involved an 18-wheeler, a semi truck and a silver BMW. At least one person was injured in the crash, and their status was not immediately known.
