DANA POINT, CA — In Dana Point, one is never too far from the mesmerizing stretch of shoreline that locals know as Strands Beach.

South Orange County resident Matt Wrock swims the waters at Strands Beach at least seven hours a week, he told Patch. He takes photos of his swims both above the water and below.
