30-Acre Fire Burning In Camp Pendleton Friday

The fire was reported shortly after 3 p.m. Friday at Camp Pendleton, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

CAMP PENDLETON, CA — A vegetation fire broke out at Camp Pendleton Friday afternoon, the Orange County Fire Authority said.

The fire was reported at 3:18 p.m. Friday and smoke could be seen from nearby points in south Orange County, firefighters said.

As of 4 p.m., the brush fire was burning at 30 acres, OCFA said.
