Brush Fire Reported In South OC Friday Afternoon

The fire was reported at around noon Friday in San Juan Capistrano, authorities said.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — A brush fire broke out in south Orange County Friday afternoon, and its cause is currently under investigation, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

The fire was reported at around noon Friday near Avenida La Mancha in San Juan Capistrano, an OC Fire spokesperson said. The fire was estimated to have burned around four acres.

Forward progress on the fire was halted at around 12:30 p.m., authorities said.
