Get Ready, Dana Point: Santa's Jolly Trolley On The Way
Looking for a sprinkle of the holiday spirit in Dana Point? Santa's Jolly Trolley is coming to your neighborhood.
DANA POINT, CA — Get your letters to Santa Claus ready, Dana Point. Santa and his elves from Dana Point's Recreation Division will be riding into town Saturday, and they're ready to hand out pre-packaged treats for kids up to 12 years of age.
That's right, Santa's Jolly Trolley is back in business this holiday season. Along with passing out treats, Santa's elves will also be collecting letters to Santa, so please include your mailing address on the letter so Santa can write back to you.
The trolley will make four stops throughout Dana Point, and at the last stop at La Plaza Park, Dana Point's annual community tree lighting ceremony will commence. Guests who join the celebration will enjoy Christmas carolers, hot chocolate and cookies.

The tree lighting will be held at 5:15 p.m., and the city will also be collecting unwrapped toys for the Spark of Love Toy Drive at the event.

1:30 p.m. through 2 p.m.: Sunset Park, 34345 Calle Naranja
2:30 p.m. through 3 p.m.: Dana Woods Park, 24900 Dana Woods
3:30 p.m. through 4 p.m.: Sea Canyon Park, 33093 Santiago Dr.
4:30 p.m. through 5:30 p.m.: La Plaza Park, 34111 La Plaza St.
