Dana Wharf Whale Watching and Marine Life Artist Wyland are partnering to offer Wyland's Whale and Dolphin Adventure Art Lessons on select Saturdays from January 24th through April 25th, 2025. Dana Wharf, established in 1971 and endorsed by Wyland ("Artist of the Sea"), found the inspiration for this program, "Art Lessons in the Wild," in the annual gray whale migration.
Exclusive Package for Kids (Ages 3-12):
- Cost: $15 art lesson fee (donated to The Wyland Foundation).
- Includes: An art lesson via video feed by environmental artist Wyland and a FREE 2-hour whale watching adventure.
- Contest: Each participating child is entered into a contest to win prizes and receives a gift from Wyland. All artwork will be judged by Wyland.
- 2026 Grand Prize: A framed and signed artwork by Wyland valued up to $3000!
Schedule and Capacity:
- Art Lessons Begin: 9:00 am (limited to 15 children).
- Whale Watching Adventure Departs: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Additional Tickets:
- Additional whale watch tickets are available for non-participating family members.
- Adults: $65
- Kids (3-12) not participating in the lesson: $45
Conditions: Valid only on Saturdays at 9 am. Must be accompanied by a paid adult (maximum of 2 non-participating kids per paid adult). The paid adult must be present for the art lesson and the free whale watching. Not applicable for discounts or promotions.
