Clean Out Your Files, Laguna Niguel: Shredding Event Announced

Do you have boxes of back-data ready for shredding? The city of Laguna Niguel announced a shredding event for residents. Here's the info.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Business owners or home owners, this one is for you. This week, you have a chance to continue to clear your clutter, getting rid of those boxes of files you just don't know what to do with at the Laguna Niguel Shredding Event.

Don't just throw those papers away. Identity theft is at an all time high, and shredding confidential information is the only way to be certain no one will use your account numbers, social security numbers and other information against you.

"Bring your confidential documents and shred identity theft on Saturday, June 17 from 7 a.m. to noon (or until trucks reach capacity) at Laguna Niguel City Hall (30111 Crown Valley Parkway)," the city said.
