DANA POINT, CA — Dana Point dog owners are getting a new place to bring their pup to play.

On June 9, the City of Dana Point will celebrate the opening of the newly expanded Heritage Dog Park Fun Zone.

Attendees will hear from Mayor John Gabbard and Mayor Pro Tem Mike Frost.

The ribbon-cutting will celebrate Heritage Dog Park's Fun Zone, which has been expanded from what used to be a single off-leash play space to two separate play areas, giving pups more room to play.

The upgrade significantly expands the area from 2,500 square feet to 11,500 square feet.
