Dana Point Featured As 'World's Greatest Coastal City' In TV Report

DANA POINT, CA — The City of Dana Point is receiving a very special shout-out.

According to officials, the city will be featured in an upcoming episode of "World's Greatest!..." on Bloomberg TV.

City spokesperson Jessica Spaulding told Patch that the episode will recognize Dana Point as the World's Greatest Coastal City.

The episode highlights Dana Point's coastline, surf scene, whale-watching experiences, world-class resorts and more.

"Being recognized as the World’s Greatest Coastal City is a tremendous honor and something our entire community can be proud of," Mayor John Gabbard told Patch. "Dana Point has a unique character and spirit that has been shaped over the years by our residents, business owners, and community partners. Their dedication and pride in our city are what make Dana Point such a wonderful place to live, work, and visit."

Residents interested in watching the episode live can tune in on Saturday, Nov. 7 and 14 at 11 a.m.

The episode can be viewed on DirectTV's channel 353 and DISH's channel 203.
