Dana Point Harbor Marina Construction Begins Soon

The project, slated to begin in the coming days, includes a total revamp of the marina and docks and includes demolition and pile driving.

DANA POINT, CA - Prepare to have those weekday mornings disrupted by the sounds of construction near the Dana Point Harbor. Officials say that a plan to revitalize the Dana Point Harbor begins in a matter of days. The Dana Point Harbor Partners announced that the demolition and reconstruction of the marina will continue until at least late 2028.

The work will take place over 15 stepped phases, according to the California Coastal Commission, and Bellwether Financial Group, along with a regional developer, global marina builder and operator have been tasked with the project, according to a report in the Dana Point Times.

Once it starts, construction crews will remove docks, pilings and gangways, according to the partners. Residents can expect work to begin at 7 a.m. and last until 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Pile driving will be conducted on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Construction crews will not work Sundays or holidays, they said.
