Dana Point Woman's Club to Host Spring Fundraiser April 1st

DPWC is holding its major spring fundraiser on Friday April 1st at the San Juan Hills Golf Club.

Dana Point Woman's Club is hosting its annual major fundraiser on Friday April 1st at 6 PM at San Juan Hills Golf Club. Guests will enjoy a no host bar, sumptuous 3 course meal, and entertainment by renowned global artist and Laguna Beach entertainer of the year - guitarist/singer/songwriter Jason Feddy. DPWC members and local businesses have donated gift certificates and products that have been beautifully packaged for the silent auction by the Club's talented gift basket duo - Dot Hammer, 1st Vice President of Community House,Inc. and Karin Marsh, DPWC Co-President.

Third Vice President and Ways & Means Chair, Marla Freeman, emphasized that the Club is very grateful to its members, donors and the community for its support. "Everyone is welcome to attend. This will be a fun evening with lively conversation, good food, entertainment, and lively company - all in the name of a great cause." DPWC's philanthropies include homelessness prevention, partnering with United Way OC's Sparkpoint Program, Project FAM (Family Assistance Ministries), Hugs for Heroes (meals for covid care workers), and many other local causes. This event will focus particularly on its education philanthropies - Project Scholarship, providing scholarships to local high school students, and Project Literacy, focusing on the public library and literacy programs at local elementary schools.

The public is encouraged to attend and support this worthy cause. Singles and couples are welcome! Invitations can be downloaded here. Tickets are $100 per person, payable in advance.
