Last Thursday June 2, DPWC members met at Dana West Yacht Club for a luncheon meeting during which its new Board was formally installed.

Dana Point Woman's Club held its annual meeting Thursday June 2 at the Dana West Yacht Club. The philanthropy's dedicated membership was celebrated for its many accomplishments over the past year. As Co-President Karin Marsh said, " Our Club really does put fun into philanthropy. We've had a very busy year. We're growing and continuously improving our fundraisers and public outreach. I'm so proud of our talented and generous members and all they've accomplished."
The Club’s philanthropic projects included the United Way OC Sparkpoint Program (preventing South County homelessness), Hugs for Heroes (supporting covid care workers at Mission Hospital), Fisher House, Family Assistance Ministries and Project Angel Tree (Christmas gifts for children attending RH Dana Elementary). In addition, the Club held several social events including a Chili - Cook off, Christmas Luncheon, Chamber of Commerce Mixer and a Girls' Night Out wine and painting event.
The patio of the harborside venue was beautifully decorated by 1st Co- Vice President, Kathy Belanger, a member of the private yacht club where members enjoyed a delicious lunch and dessert.
