Dana Point's John Berney Featured in Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes at the Horse Stables -Sunday July 26

Celebrate National Parents Day with Horses! Exclusive Stable Tour for families features horses large to miniature and top riders/trainers.

Dana Point resident and accomplished equestrian, John Berney is featured in a family-friendly, Behind-the-Scenes at the Stables tour in San Juan Capistrano on Sunday, July 26, from 3-5 p.m.

John Berney has a successful show team that competes from the county-level all the way through AA-rated Hunter shows. Shows with an AA rating from the United States Equestrian Federation are the most prestigious and often offer significant prize money. His riders are often riding and winning in these shows at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park just off of Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano and at Del Mar.

In June 2015, John Berney Equestrian relocated to the pastoral Rio Vista Stables with a custom built new barn. Tour attendees will have the opportunity to see the new facility which is adjacent to 40 acres of trails and grasslands. During the tour, Berney will direct riders who are demonstrating jumping while instructing tour members on what to look for and sharing his insider’s view of this international sport.
