Drug Take Back Day Drive To Be Held In Laguna Niguel
The drive will be held for residents to anonymously drop off prescription medication on Saturday, Oct. 28.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Do you have unused, old or expired prescription medication taking up space in your medicine cabinet?
The Orange County Sheriff's Department is hosting a recycling event Saturday, Oct. 28 in commemoration of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, and residents are encouraged to stop by and dispose of their unused medication.
The city, along with the Orange County Sheriff's Department, host this event twice a year. It is designed to be a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs, the city said in a statement.

While unused or expired prescriptions will be accepted, the city will not take sharp objects, marijuana, liquids or pressure canisters.
The drug disposal event takes place Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Laguna Niguel City Hall, 30111 Crown Valley Parkway.
