Screen Free Week

 During the week of April 30 – May 4, John S. Malcom Elementary will join thousands of other schools and communities in their pledge to spend the week screen-free. Instead of watching TV or playing video games, encourage your children to read, exercise, work in the community or spend time with family and friends. In Thursday folders you will receive an Activity Sheet on which to record the alternatives to sitting in front of a screen that your child chooses next week. All Malcom students who complete the sheet and turn it in by Monday, May 7th will be rewarded with a “Build Your Own Ice Cream Sundae” Party after their lunch the following Friday.
