Foster Home Wanted

Lovely Lolita! Lolita is about 6-7 years old and weighs 17 pounds. She was turned into a high kill shelter by her previous adopter after owning her for 5 years, probably because of her eyesight. Lolita is blind due to Glaucoma. The loss of vision, while unfortunate, does not stop her from being a wonderful and loving companion. She relies on her sense of smell and hearing to navigate. Lolita loves to go for car rides, enjoys walks and especially loves cuddling next to you on the couch. She is house trained and she prefers to be the only dog in the home. She would be a great companion to a person who is home during the day. She is friendly, playful, affectionate and enjoys playing with a ball. Obviously she will need time to adjust to a new environment, but she gets around quite well and can live normally like any other dog.
