Free Stuff Alert: Jamba Juice Giveaway on Wednesday

Employees at participating stores will be serving 12 ounce servings of their juices blended with whole foods, such as yogurt.

From an edited press release:

Consumers who visit Jamba locations across the country Wednesday, Aug. 6 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. will receive free samples of its recently-launched made-to-order juices blended with whole foods, such as Greek yogurt.

There is a Jamba Juice at 27320 Alicia Parkway, at 28241 Crown Valley Parkway and at 32585 Golden Lantern St., Suite. G.

The sampling event is intended to drive consumer awareness of the company’s new juice platform and follows a June 2 announcement by Jamba citing availability of the product in more than 500 of its stores.

Jamba freshly squeezed juices address the growing consumer trend toward getting more fruits and vegetables into their daily diets through juicing and whole food blending.

Vegetables and whole foods used include kale, beets, carrots, ginger, orange, apple, pineapple, chia seeds, and wheatgrass, providing the key nutrients, vitamins, minerals and fiber found in whole produce.

“We are taking the current coastal juicing trend and scaling it nationally,” said James D. White, chairman, president and CEO of Jamba, Inc.

For each juice purchased on a return visit, Jamba will donate $1 to support school gardens through its relationship with the National Gardening Association’s Kids Gardening program.
