Fugitive Who Threatened OC Judge Sought After Escape To Mexico

Orange County authorities are still searching for a former Laguna Niguel man accused of threatening a mass shooting at a county courthouse.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Authorities are still searching for a former Laguna Niguel man accused of threatening a mass shooting at an Orange County courthouse and threatening a judge, The Orange County Register reported.

Byrom Zuniga Sanchez remains a fugitive since he went missing earlier this year, the report said. Authorities believe him to be in Mexico.

Last week, prosecutors charged Zuniga with a federal felony for threats that began following Sanchez's involvement ina. family law matter in OC Superior Court.
