The synopsis of the film: Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the funniest actors working today. Get ready to watch them save the world this summer--30 years after the original Ghostbusters cast accomplished the same feat.

Bill Murray has weighed in on the idea of the all girl cast, as well as Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, in a pre-filming interview.

"“Melissa would be a spectacular Ghostbuster,” Murray told the Toronto Star. “And Kristen Wiig is so funny — God, she’s funny!”
