Great White Shark Spotted in Dana Point Harbor
A stand-up paddle boarder got a little to close for comfort with a great white shark in the Dana Point Harbor.

A great white shark was spotted in the Dana Point Harbor Saturday.
As first reported by the Orange County Register, the 8-foot-long juvenile shark cruised about four-feet below a stand-up paddle boarder near the breakwater, circling him twice before moving on.
“Initially, sure, you have to be brain dead not to be scared. I’m a tough, macho dude, but yes, I was scared at first,” Stand-up paddler Arthur Grant told the Orange County Register. “Those guys are bad boys. They go wherever they want.”
