House Fire Swiftly Knocked Down In South OC: OCFA
Orange County firefighters made quick work of a house fire in Laguna Niguel on Sunday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Orange County firefighters made quick work of a house fire in Laguna Niguel this weekend.
The fire was reported on Via Estudio in Laguna Niguel on Sunday afternoon, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
According to firefighters, the residents had just returned home at 1 p.m. and saw smoke pluming from their home's skylight.

After opening the door, the residents saw a wall of smoke and immediately closed the door and called 911, firefighters said.
"Kudos to the residents for closing the front door," an OCFA statement read. "When it's safe to do so, closing doors help limit the spread of fires."

The fire was extinguished in a swift nine minutes and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
