Exclusive Look Inside Wyland's Laguna Beach Penthouse Studio--Home

This was a real treat for So-Cal Safari. I'm just so glad we caught it...

LAGUNA BEACH, CA—World renowned artist, Robert Wyland lives and works in his Laguna Beach, California studio. In an exclusive view of his personal space, Wyland invited So-CalSafari.com to take a behind the scenes look at his personal world.

At the top of his Laguna Beach studio, up a secret stairwell, the original oil of "Children of the Sea" hangs in a sacred space.

The space is about what you would expect of an artist who lives all over the globe.

Light wafts in from a wall of windows, soaring ceilings and lazy fans spin in the loft-style space, and oh, yes. That priceless view of the Pacific Ocean that calls to the soul.

Wyland's unique vision of the world above and beneath the waves--has even transcended to the heavens above. His favorite works of art hang on the wall, while works in progress are propped up around his home.

This is bonus footage from the Laguna Beach episode of So-CalSafari.com where he shows off his ocean front home.

Junior, the turtle, a mere 50-years-old lives on the terrace. As one would expect of an artist who loves nature, Wyland often scuba dives at a reef right off his Laguna Beach space.

"You don't have to go to sea world, you can go to Dana Point, and get on a boat and see marine life," he said. "Captain Dave is one of the best to go with."

One of, if not the most successful artist in Southern California, Wyland is described by Eric Bergstrom as a "down to Earth man with a simple message: Take care of each other and our planet. It's all we have."
