Man Dies In Dana Harbor Cliff Fall

Firefighters attempted to rescue the victim, who fatally fell from a cliff into a difficult to reach area.

DANA POINT, CA —A man fell to his death from a Dana Point cliff Tuesday morning, Orange County Fire Authority reported.

Firefighters were called to the harbor to attempt a rescue at approximately 9:30 a.m., OCFA spokesman Capt. Jon Muir said.

The location of the man was "difficult to get to," so firefighters used a helicopter to lower a paramedic, who was unable to revive the man, Muir said.
