Local Jimmy Fallon Is Also Entrepreneur

While most smile, or even laugh  when you say the name Jimmy Fallon, known by most as a Hollywood comedian, you may want to rethink that metaphor.  Jimmy Fallon is not your typical teenager, but rather a new breed of future leader who accepts challenges as opportunities.

He not only excels at his AP studies, but is also on the tennis team, elected Commissioner of Communications and was recently elected class president of , (2,900 students). Busy is his middle name. Confronted with his dad’s snoring, rather than complain, he embarked on finding a cure three years ago. 

Today, Apnea Sciences Corp. is a multi-million dollar company growing exponentially with worldwide distribution. How good is ApneaR_x, CareFusion Corp., a multi-billion dollar medical device company from San Diego just started distributing ApneaR_x to 39 countries. GlobeNets, Ltd recently contracted for the distribution rights in Malyasia, Indonesia, Thailand and South Korea and MedVest, is negotiating for the distribution rights for Russia.  

SnoreR_x is being sold through an integrated internet marketing campaign that is producing record number of sales. All this growth demanded expanded new offices, which they now expect to outgrow within the next year. A ribbon cutting for the new offices was held on Aug. 20.

Fallon utilized a contract engineering firm in Irvine to complete his patented design and another Orange County contract manufacture to produce the products. To secure FDA product approval he enlisted a local FDA consultant. The computer mainframe that manages the Internet and all credit card processing was purchased used from a bankrupt Beverly Hills company for $2,200, that when new cost $147,000. He was responsible for naming the products, SnoreR_x, The prescription for snoring and ApneaR_x  The prescription for sleep apnea  and was subsequently issued several registered trademarks with seven pending. He also designed all the packaging and website www.snorerx.com  on his home Apple computer. 

Some would say, get your education first, then you can get your first job. Fallon personifies the classical entrepreneur, a visionary who accepts the challenges of life and is driven to succeed at every level, waiting is not in his vocabulary.  Jimmy credits Mr. Nedler, one of his high school teachers, for inspiring him and motivating him to embrace life’s challenges as opportunities.
