Laguna Niguel Mexican Restaurant Celebrates 20 Years With Deals

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A Laguna Niguel restaurant is celebrating two decades of service with a week of deals.

Avila's El Ranchito in Laguna Niguel opened in 2006, though the restaurant's story really began in 1966 in Huntington Park, when Salvador and Margarita Avila opened their first restaurant.

"Twenty years goes fast when you're surrounded by people who feel like family — and I mean that beyond our own name on the door," Avila's El Ranchito Laguna Niguel Owner, Marcus Avila, told Patch. "Our team, our regulars, the families who've been coming since day one and are now bringing their grandkids — that's what this place is really built on."

South Orange County residents were invited to celebrate this big milestone by joining in on a "Week of Celebration" from April 27 through May 3.

Here's a run down of what residents can expect for the special week:

• Monday, April 27: Share on social media and receive 20 percent off of your entire bill.
• Tuesday, April 28: Free dessert for every table (with meal).
• Wednesday, April 29: Taco and margarita combo deals.
• Thursday, April 30: Instant savings with a fun, in-restaurant photo experience.
• Friday, May 1: Exclusive beer specials.
• Saturday, May 2: "Duo Day" margarita deal for friends and family.
• Sunday, May 3: 20 percent off everything all day.
