Laguna Niguel Shares New Strategic Plan

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — This week in Laguna Niguel, the City Council unanimously voted to adopt its first-ever strategic plan. Laguna Niguel: 2050 – The Pursuit of Happiness Strategic Plan. This plan serves as a blueprint for the City’s future.

Laguna Niguel created to accomplish the community’s and the City Council’s goals. Developing and adopting this strategic plan marks a significant milestone for the community as a whole.

This is the first major initiative of new mayor, Laurie Davies.

According to Davies, the "Laguna Niguel: 2050 – The Pursuit of Happiness" strategic plan embodies the long-held vision and goals of the community and the City Council.

"Every day we strive to make Laguna Niguel the best place to live, work, and raise a family," Davies said. "This Strategic Plan puts pen to paper, and our vision will serve as the roadmap of the community’s future. I appreciate the leadership shown by the outgoing Mayor, Council Member John Mark Jennings on spearheading this initiative, and for the participation, support, and expertise displayed by the entire City Council."

The City’s first-ever Strategic Plan establishes the following mission, vision, values, and goals:
