Laguna Niguel Softball Coach Convicted Of Molesting 3 Young Girls
The former softball coach and member of UCI board was convicted on charges of molesting three girls, under the age of 14-years-old.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA āA Laguna Niguel youth softball coach was convicted Tuesday of molesting three girls under the age of 14-years-old, according to court records.
Glen Thomas Kauffman, 55,a resident of Laguna Niguel, was convicted of six counts of lewd acts with a minor younger than 14 and three counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration of a child 10 years or younger.
His sentencing date is scheduled for Nov. 22.

"Kauffman molested one of the girls multiple times and once with another, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. The sexual assaults of two 10-year-old girls took place between August 2014 and August 2017," prosecutors said.
The third girl was molested in May 2016.

According to a report from the Orange County Register, Kauffman graduated from UCI in 1986 with a bachelorās degree in information and computer science. He received his MBA in 1994 also at UCI, as referenced from a biography since removed from the UCI Alumni web page.
